Ethan Jano was born and raised in Southwestern Pennsylvania - in the backwoods of Somerset County. It was there that he found his love for songwriting. Ethan writes heavily of the people and the places that informed his early life, often praising the way of life they've shared together.
Backed by his band "The Hilltop Revival" Ethan is a Country songwriter and performer with influences from all over the musical spectrum, “From Buddy Holly to Dwight Yoakam to Creedence”. Although he doesn't wear these influences on his sleeve, trace amounts can be found nestled into the acoustic guitar picking or the four chord arrangements and straight ahead grooves. Ultimately creating a peculiar yet Familiar blend of songs that may lead you deep in thought against the sharp vocals and vivid imagery that he seems to apply well. Ethan is one of eight children and often sings of the Privilege and Love as well as the hardship of life.
